This five-day retreat invites you to slow down and reconnect with the earth, your body, and your deeper sense of belonging. Set on a breathtaking 20,000-acre ranch in Centennial Valley, Montana, Renewing Kinship combines Equus coaching, animal tracking, and guided nature-based practices to foster profound emotional and ecological connection.
You’ll be supported by trauma integration coach Koelle Simpson, ecological consultant and animal tracker Meghan Walla-Murphy, and guide Hilary Zaranek, who collectively create a grounded, intimate space for healing and personal insight.
Through storytelling, exploration, and hands-on work with horses and the land, you’ll rediscover the rhythm, reciprocity, and quiet wisdom of the wild.

“Whether you’re navigating trauma, disconnection, or a deep sense of ‘not enough,’ you’re not alone. Horses have offered me—and so many others—a gentle, grounded path back to trust, compassion, and meaningful connection. It would be an honor to support you on that journey.”
Given the nature of the depth of coaching facilitation that takes place during retreats, it is advised that you have worked with Koelle Simpson for a minimum of 3 virtual one on one coaching sessions prior to attending an in person retreat.
Koelle has created a growing online space to support anyone on their healing journey. Wherever they are and at their own pace. Visit the Free Resources page for articles, tools, podcast episodes, and nature-based practices.
